Distilled Monoglyceride (DMG)








DMG is used in baked goods, dairy, processed meats, and beverages. It improves texture and stability, prevents oil separation, and extends shelf life. For example, in baked goods, DMG improves the texture and volume of breads and rolls, and the texture and moistness of cakes and pastries.
In dairy, DMG prevents ice crystals from forming in ice cream, and improves the consistency of creams and sauces. DMG also uses as a foaming agent in plastics and cosmetics industries.
